If the KinWin 50 single ticket for $10 are no longer available, how will this affect my mail order being processed?
As a result of the overwhelming support for the KinWin 50 Lottery – the single tickets for $10 are no longer available. We appreciate your support and to avoid further disappointment, we have processed your ticket order for the Children’s Hospital lottery, as requested. Depending on your payment method the following will occur:
Cheque payments – cheques will be deposited and a refund for the KinWin50 Lottery portion will be returned to you within 4-6 weeks.
Credit Card Payments – your order has been adjusted and only the Children’s Hospital lottery ticket has been processed.

Is the ticket tax deductible/do you get a tax receipt?
No there is no tax receipt issued and the ticket is not tax deductible
Must the ticket purchaser and the name on the ticket be over the age of 18 years?
When ordering on-line, do I get an e-mail confirmation?
Yes. Official Lottery Ticket(s) will be mailed out within 2-3 weeks.
Can tickets be put in the name of a corporation or business?
Yes. Should the ticket be a winner, the prize is then awarded to the corporation or business and the person who claims the prize must be able to prove they are an authorized officer of that company.
How many names can be put on a ticket?
Should a purchaser want to put more than 2 names on a ticket it is recommended that the purchaser keep record of who is involved with the purchase. The licensee will not be responsible for any conflict between joint ticket purchases. In the event of a winning ticket stub having more than one name the lottery will award the prize to any individual whose name is listed on the stub. The licensee is not responsible for resolving any disputes, which may arise from the different individuals.
Can people order from outside the province of Alberta?
Any purchaser who RESIDES OUTSIDE ALBERTA BUT IS PHYSICALLY WITHIN ALBERTA AT TIME OF PURCHASE may purchase a ticket. The ticket can be mailed to any address (even out of Alberta). The Children’s Hospital Lottery is not responsible for provincial or state taxes imposed on a prize exported out of Alberta.
Who cannot purchase tickets?
Contest guidelines prohibit the following people from purchasing tickets: The Lottery Manager, the Ticket Auditor, the Lottery Committee, employees of Stride Management Corp., immediate family of those listed above and anyone under the age of 18. (Immediate family member is defined as: parent, brother, sister, son, daughter or spouse).
