Children’s Hospital Lottery 2024 – Payroll Deduction Program

 Phase 1 Rules of Play March 13-April 3, 2024

Alberta Health Services (AHS) employees are eligible to purchase tickets through the Children’s Hospital Lottery payroll deduction program. AHS employees can only opt-in online at childrenshospitallottery.ca/payroll. AHS employees are not able to opt-in to the payroll deduction program through childrenshospitallottery.ca, by phone, kiosk, mail, or at the lottery show home.

Phase 1 (Bonus eligible): Purchased tickets through childrenshospitallottery.ca/payroll will be deducted from AHS payroll on April 17, May 1, May 15, and May 29, 2024. These payment deductions will occur provided that the ticket-processing centre is able to validate the AHS employee ID and the opt-in request was made prior to the payroll deduction deadline of April 3, 2024.

Please note that those who purchase through payroll deduction will not be eligible for the Loyalty Prize, as deductions will not be processed prior to the loyalty deadline. If an AHS employee would like to be eligible for the Loyalty prize, they must purchase their tickets through the Children’s Hospital Lottery public sales website.

If you purchase Children’s Hospital Lottery tickets through the payroll deduction program prior to the phase 1 deadline you are eligible for these prize deadlines:

  • Bonus Prize Deadline: June 6, 2024
  • Early Bird Prize Deadline: June 27, 2024
  • Grand Prize Deadline: July 24, 2024

In the event a payment defaults and is unable to be processed during the above listed payroll periods, a lottery ticket will not be issued, and the AHS employee will be refunded for any payments that were taken prior to the defaulted payment.

Individual ticket numbers are generated and issued once all four payments have been received. Individuals will be entered into the lottery draw once tickets numbers are generated. Lottery numbers are sent by email only.

Email communication will only ever be sent from the Children’s Hospital Lottery email, [email protected]. For more information regarding privacy and protection against fraud, read our Privacy Policy here.

*The final day to opt-in to the Children’s Hospital Lottery Payroll Phase 1 deduction program is April 3, 2024. Lottery tickets outside of the payroll deduction program can be purchased until midnight, July 24, 2024.
